Anna Beller is an experimental painter and architect from Berlin, currently working in Hanover. In her artistic practice, she explores color relationships and transparencies through a variety of painting techniques.
Her “lacquer studies” navigate the tension between mechanical repetition and the natural flow of color. Without using brushes or spatulas, she lets the paint flow freely across the surface, allowing the act of painting itself to develop its own force, guided only by gravity.
