New Orleans showed up and showed out for my cousin’s 40th! 🎉
The weekend was one for the books — filled with food, drinks, belly laughs, and more twerking than I’ll ever publicly admit. We ate our way through a delicious food tour, learned a little history, soaked up a whole lot of culture, and even took our moves to the water on a twerking tiki cruise along the bayou (yes, a gator pulled up to the party too 🐊💃🏽).
It was family. It was friendship. It was joy. And it was proof that life’s best moments are the ones that make you sweat, smile, and dance until your knees give out.”

September was one for the books — a month of culture, curiosity, and good vibes only. 🌍✨
I ate and danced my way through a night of heritage and tradition at the Embassy of Ethiopia, wandered through nature to catch my breath, got inspired at the National Book Festival, and then hopped across the Atlantic for a Paris + London adventure filled with rum tastings, Black history, biking through Versailles, and pure, unfiltered joy.
Opulence, culture, connection — and memories I’ll be replaying for a long time. 🥂

London did its thang too! Like an easy NYC — me likey! Although it was bit nippy (who doesn’t love a little Fall weather), we lived our 5 days there to the max! Of course we did the obligatory tourist stuff but we also met up with an old friend, ate our way through Brixton and ATE with the looks ! 😏 And the cherry on top — I saw a real life CASTLE 🏰
P.S. Contrary to popular belief, the food we ate was chef’s 💋

Paris was definitely a vibe…just the vibe I needed. Although our time there was short, it was just enough of a taste for me to fall in love. From the laissez-faire attitude to the people to the effortless style to the Black history (and present) to just bread and pastries for breakfast — I was here for every bit of it.
We ate…we laughed…we imbibed…we learned a bit…and J’ai même pu pratiquer un peu mon français 😉
But this was just a taste, I will be back soon to savor it all!
And one day I’ll learn how to stop taking photos like I’m in my 40s 😆
