It’s Berlin’s mindful ceramic studio -
Artist-run by @ankebuchmann . Process-driven, experimental and alive - that’s what it is about at HANDFUL.
So of course all senses play a role in the creative process with clay. Beside the tactile qualities of clay, there is the smell of the freshly recycled clay body, the sound the tools make when interacting with the material and the joy of watching the clay change it’s consistency over time.
Wednesday is drop-in day again. The studio is open for your creative time on an hourly basis. And for the eager ones amongst you, there is the monthly membership.

Black and white shifts the focus
it invites us to linger on other details.
Florals, rhythm, texture. Details that colors sometimes hide.
In this phase, I find refuge in winter, inviting slowness and preparation,
just like black and white invites us to see color.
