Jeder unserer Gua Shas ist ein echtes Unikat – in sorgfältiger Handarbeit von Stefanie Lennartz, Gründerin des Claï Studios, an der Drehscheibe geformt. ✨ Seit 2021 führt Steffi ihr Studio in Berlin eigenständig und verantwortet den gesamten kreativen Prozess sowie die Produktion. Ihr Ziel ist es, Stücke zu schaffen, die die Natürlichkeit des Tons betonen und dabei moderne, schlichte Formen aufgreifen, die zeitlos wirken. Für ihre Arbeit verwendet Steffi hochwertigen, regionalen Ton aus dem Westerwald, der für seine mineralstoffreiche Zusammensetzung bekannt ist. Dieser natürliche Ton, der als verwitterter Stein in Böden vorkommt, zeichnet sich durch seine besondere Plastizität aus und lässt sich hervorragend formen. Beim Brennen verschmelzen die Poren des Materials zu einer stabilen, langlebigen Struktur – ein handgefertigtes Stück, das sowohl das Handwerk als auch die Qualität des regionalen Materials widerspiegelt. Deshalb ist unsere Zusammenarbeit mit Claï Studio besonders wertvoll, da uns die gleichen Werte verbinden: Regionalität, Handwerk und die Individualität und Einzigartigkeit unserer Produkte.
