Which one is your favorite? ❤️ This is the second look I created during my creative portrait workshop for @photoprofessionals.ch in Switzerland the other week ✨ Not the most comfortable outfit and definitely a little tricky to walk around in… but sooo pretty 🥰😅🙈 The styling is made entirely from honeycomb packaging material and sticky tape 🤍 Lighting setup was an Elinchrom Five with a black/silver deep umbrella, combined with a pair of Elinchrom Ones with gels for the colored smoke shots. Simple setup, but super effective 👌🏼 Captured with my favorite studio partner, the Nikon Z8 + the new 24–70mm f/2.8 ❤️ Never lets me down 🫶🏼 Now I only have one problem… 🤔 I can’t choose a favorite! One of the last workshops of 2025 🤍 and honestly, what a year it was. So many beautiful meetings, amazing models, and incredible people who helped turn ideas into real images. This one comes from a workshop in Zurich for a photography association, where we focused on creative studio lighting and how to use simple spaces in a powerful way. We used an ordinary wall as the backdrop for Aurora, styled by Anita like a 40s movie star — pure cinema, no distractions. This setup is all about controlled contrast — hard, directional light sculpting the face and body, with color living in the shadows. Simple background, bold light, strong mood. All images were created using Godox lighting: AD600 lights, optical snoot, BFP, and a completely crazy beauty dish I randomly found in the studio (still don’t know where it came from 😅). 1, 2, 3… I set three lights and I don’t move from my spot. I just use my trigger and phone to change a few parameters (turn on/off flash, change power, change RGB color, saturation and luminance) — and suddenly the whole mood changes. Look 1: Optical snoot + 1 fill light (softbox ) Look 2: Optical snoot + two side lights (2 softboxes) Look 3: Optical snoot + two side lights + slow shutter / shutter drag for that magic motion All this takes seconds. No stress. No moving gear around. And my clients stay excited instead of bored. Working alone taught me that efficiency is everything. When you stop running around the studio and start making smart lighting decisions, you can create way more interesting photos… and way faster. The secret? A clear mood board + smart lighting flow. Sei stark ✨ Seid Jahren mache ich mich für Frauen stark, die an Krebs erkrant sind und sich in der Chemotherapie befinden. So eine Diagnose verändert das Leben, die Denkweise und möglicherweise auch das äussere Erscheinungsbild. Die Hautpflege, die Inhaltsstoffe bei Kosmetikartikeln, der Verlust von Augenbrauen und Wimpern Ist ein zentrales Thema und Aliegen der Frauen, mit dem ich mich seit Jahren beschäftige. Hierzu habe ich mich gezielt weitergebildet. In meinen speziellen Schminkberatungen zeige ich auf, wie man die Gesichtspflege, das Make-up und vor allem das nachzeichnen der Augenbrauen und das kaschieren der fehlenden Wimpern im Alltag gut umsetzen kann. Für mein Referat am @kantonsspitalbaden , zu welchem ich eingeladen worden bin, um über das Thema „Make-up während der Chemotherapie“ zu berichten und meine Erfahrungen mit betroffenen Frauen zu teilen, durfte ich eine beeindruckende, wundervolle Frau @karinchen7215 fotografisch begleiten. Sie hat sich spontan bei mir gemeldet und wir haben das Shooting innert 2 Tagen aufgestellt. Because honestly… this one is weird, tiny, and completely unique — I had never seen anything like it before. 😅 I found it during my last workshop in Zurich and of course I had to test it. Most photographers choose the safe zone: softboxes, umbrellas, big modifiers. But I’m a real fan of hard light — the drama, the shape, the contrast, the way it sculpts the face and body. And I want you to fall in love with it just as much as I did. Usually I start by asking my models what kind of personality they are — or who they want to become in front of my camera. But this time… the styling was already chosen. Because this dress — well, it decided everything. It shaped who Aurora would turn into. And she became a movie star from the 1920s ✨ This is a short backstage from today’s workshop in EGG, at Nikon House close to Zurich. I had the pleasure to work with 20 amazing photographers, two beautiful models, and show how I move from simple to more creative lighting setups. It was a long, but truly inspiring day.
