Hereās the timelapse! I animated this dance at 24fps, I think the final frame count was 421. This poor guyās butt is all torn up, itās one of the many reasons I want to make a new version of him.

This dance took me over two weeks to animate! I averaged a bit more than 1 second a day, animating in my free time. I think this might be the longest dance Iāve done yet. Royal Court Season 2 intro was almost entirely made of in-camera elements. We couldnāt film everything all at once though, it wouldāve been impossible to do in our apartment. Instead, we shot it in layers and I composited everything together in After Effects. The entire into was filmed on a stage only 2 feet wide! The camera move was filmed for real using a slider, which took up way more time than I wouldāve hoped. Iām still super proud of it over a year later. Iāll be posting more side-by-sides soon so stay tuned!

The props in this shot were made out of clay, painted, and photo-scanned using @polycam3d ! I made some texture maps and different materials to make the buttons glow, even the computer icons are clay sculpts!
