Ch.27 Pt.8: "And hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon" As my time in San Antonio winds down to it's end, it was the greatest pleasure to spend time traveling with some of those who have made these last few years so very special. New Chapters on the Horizon.

Ch.27 Pt.4: The Marathon "If you can you must" 2019 I ran my first Half Marathon at the San Antonio Rock n Roll Marathon, and I vividly remember where the courses split. Thinking to myself "There's no way in the world that I could run double this." Thinking that was the peak of what I was capable of. As the years passed and I continued to surround my self with incredibly talented and hardworking runners I saw them break their own limits with incredible Marathon times. As impressed and inspired as I was I still had the fear of the Marathon. Scared of getting hurt, scared of quitting, scared of not being capable. But as San Antonio a city I love and reside in announced that they would host it's inaugural marathon I knew it was time to run my first. The fear still persisted so I knew it was time to get serious and get a coach for the first time since highschool. @ryanmiller34 and I collaborated and set out a goal and a plan to crush this first race with him as my coach. That being said my busy schedule meant the great majority of my training would be done on my own. Still I have to shout-out the greater running community of San Antonio for allowing me to join them on occasion to push myself even further. @countdown.tc @extracredit.mm @coffeerunningclub @downtownrungroup @village_idiots_run_group_ @goldenhourrun to name a few. As race day came and went I could not have asked for a better race as I had faith in my training, faith in myself, and faith in those around me. Hitting the proverbial wall around mile 23 I was still able to manage a top 10 finish as I was surrounded incredible runners and friends along the course pushing me forward. Also I can't forget to shout-out @thanhybanana for pacing through the first 9 miles. "Faith is not denial of fact but belief despite the fact" Let's see what comes next 🤷🏽‍♂️
