A tool for abstraction, porcelain tableware
“But how do we begin to generate, from matter, the pictures in our brain?” A.Damasio
Mental Matter is a set of objects intended to be used by people around
a table, in order to support a dialogue at it’s visual and tactile aspect,
or the level of abstraction.
Each item can serve functions of dining or drinking.
Each composition of items can interpret a meaning that emerges into the discussion, when words fail to describe it.
describing a space that we visited,
actions performed in such space,
an accident with our bike,
an abstract concept,
or the way a process is running.

Optics is a series of reflective objects that function as perceptual devices ~ transforming the familiar plane of the mirror into an unstable optical field.
Modular Commonscapes, Limassol Marina, Cyprus
Developed between 2023 and 2025, Modular Commonscapes is structured as a modular system of lightweight, reusable components designed for repeated assembly and disassembly.
It operates as an open system that generates multiple spatial configurations through recombination. Transportable and adaptable, it responds to different contexts, terrains, and programs.

Modular Commonscapes introduces an ephemeral architectural system that generates diverse spatial conditions through reuse and recombination. Developed between 2023 and 2025, it is composed of lightweight components designed for repeated assembly, disassembly, and adaptation across different contexts.
For the Art Explora Festival (2025), the project takes the form of an inhabitable commons. It operates as a welcoming and boarding point for the museum boat, supporting waiting, orientation, and gathering. Shaded areas, seating surfaces, and open platforms provide space for rest, play, and information.
As a modular system, it allows different spatial arrangements to emerge through use, maintaining openness while adapting to changing contexts and programs.
