Many of you already know Angelo Appa from past events, or simply from crossing paths with him training in the park or joining one of his incredible classes. This Training Club, however, feels a little different. Angelo will be leaving London next month, which makes this not only his final collaboration with us (for now) but also his last week of classes here.
Itâs something that genuinely saddens us, but at the same time, weâre excited to see our friend and coach continue building his path and stepping into a new chapter in Italy. Weâre certain that with his energy, consistency, and humility, heâll go as far as he wants.
This session is dedicated to him. Angelo will be leading a freestyle session this Sunday from 12 to 2 at Finsbury Park. Weâve shared this format before, and it always brings an incredible atmosphere. Itâs dynamic, playful, and full of connection, so you can expect that same energy again.
This session is 100% beginner-friendly. If youâre new to freestyle, youâll be guided through the fundamentals, learning how to swing on the bar, how to fall safely, and working on simple, fun elements like 180 turns and accessible transitions. For those at an intermediate or more advanced level, the focus will shift towards more complex skills such as 360s and more technical combinations.
As always, all levels are truly welcome. We make a conscious effort to ensure that everyone feels comfortable, supported, and part of the session from the very beginning.
After the freestyle, weâll move into a sets and reps block with Juan Amo, bringing a more structured approach while keeping the flow of the session alive.
For those who feel like staying a little longer, weâll ride together from Finsbury Park to Broadway Market, grab some food, probably sit by the canal, and enjoy a meal and a few laughs.
If youâd like to join, you can book your spot through the link in our bio. As always with our outdoor sessions, booking works on a donation basis to keep things accessible for everyone.
Much love, and see you at the bars.
