Last but NOT least!
Our 2026 Artist in residence Anelisa wants funding for the arts !
She, uh, has big feelings about it.
From a new script about bar witches, to costumes and community outreach.
Help us help Anelisa smash it.
We are 95% there!

This weekend is your last chance to see me in @actsanfrancisco ‘s Timon of Athens at The Rueff (at The Strand)! Tonight at 7pm, tomorrow at 2pm.
For the past two weeks, we’ve been touring this show to schools all around the Bay Area and have shared this story with students, teachers, and community members. To hear how our young audiences are connecting with it has been especially moving. They understand the hurt and betrayal Timon experiences. They see the injustices doled out by the political power of Athens and cheer us on to fight back. The kids are alright.
It’s been an incredible experience and I’m excited for one final weekend! Get ur tix on ACT’s website quick, we’re almost sold out! 🖤🖤🖤

…but wait, there’s more!
We are very proud of all the work that has happened to create this new works festival. From all the writers who submitted and pitched their shows, to the directors, actors, designers, and admin staff who worked hard to make these visions come alive! We are proud that work was recognized by @theatrebayareasf with a Homegrown Achievement Award, as our entire mission is to create more weird theater by Bay Area artists!
Congrats @anelitza - Her submission “THE FOREST” got into #WEIRDSTOCK
One should be proud to achieve the certificate of: Human who does cool shit while also working a joby-job!
We hope you did some of the edits on company time!
That makes you a “paid playwright” no matter what.
May the odds be ever in your favor.
Come support Anelisa this THURSDAY @eclecticboxsf
