Last night we had the pleasure of seeing the first episode from the 2nd series of Rivals with @katwoolfe @doghousepostpro and jonny keeling, thanks to the lovely @dominictc and it was amazing!!! Then an added pleasure of chatting to some cast and crew afterwards hosted by the lovely Angelica bell who did a fabulous job! I’m so excited about seeing the rest of this brilliant series We also carried on the night at a cocktail bar with our lovely friend’s fred and Sarah, a great pre birthday celebration! A wholesome night which I’m now paying for! 😂

What an incredible night sharing the room with such natural history legends , but the most amazing sight was to celebrate the man himself, sir david Attenborough’s 100 years on this planet. Happy birthday to the most iconic, wonderful, incredible, engaging, passionate and interested person when it comes to this little planet we live on. He has inspired and continues to inspire generation after generation about the wonders of this world. I felt like I was a part of history last night. @puja_panchkoty and I were in tears throughout most of the films that were shown and pieces that were performed. There will never be another David Attenborough, simply because he has lived through the golden age of natural history, to to be able to celebrate the man’s birthday and sit metres away from him will be a moment I’ll never forget. Also if it wasn’t for sir David I would not have had the long career in children’s Tv I have. Or the love and enthusiasm I have for the prehistoric world and wild life now ( I think we have used all his film footage for ANDYS adventures 😂) Still buzzing! A massive well done to the bbc for putting on an incredible birthday celebration for him.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

It’s been wonderful being part of the world of children’s books over the last few years and reaching so many readers. When imagining what I wanted to write next, I thought back to the moments when I fell in love with books – and the times I’ve seen my own little ones fall in love with books, too. Just reminiscing on almost 10 years ago, playing our first gig at Glastonbury on the william greens stage,Many people still dont realise we started as a real band and we had no idea that in nearly 10 years time we would have (almost) 5 TV series under our belt and numerous tours in Uk and in Australia. Its been a fun ride so far let's hope we are a part of many more children's childhood memories growing up!
