Accidentally ghosted the internet for a week because apparently moving house while parenting, doing tip runs, surviving Playwild chaos and relocating 47 boxes of books takes up quite a lot of time. (Still more books to pack, 813 counted so far - aiming for library status) 🙃📦 BUT… we got the keys to our new house this week 🥹🏡 Since then life has mostly been cardboard boxes, caffeine, emotional support snacks and repeatedly driving random household items from one house to the other while pretending I know what I’m doing. This week is also looking mildly unhinged already, so content may still be a bit chaotic while we settle in… but I’m going to try and crawl back onto the internet properly soon 💚

We headed to Tenpin for a game of bowling… and ended up discovering so much more 🎳✨ From the moment we walked in, it was clear how much it’s changed — the space is HUGE, bright, colourful, and packed with things to do for all ages: 🎳 Bowling 🔐 Escape rooms 🔫 Laser tag 🎤 Karaoke 🕹️ Arcade 🎯 Darts 🧸 Soft play It’s one of those places where you can easily turn a quick visit into a full day out (which is exactly what we did 😅) Zach was just a little too short for the laser tag, so that turned into a 1-on-1 battle between me and John… …and I’m choosing not to discuss the outcome 👀😂 Honestly, such a great option for families with mixed ages — everyone had something they loved, which is no small win in this house 🙌 We’ll definitely be back for round two 🎳 #ad #gifted @fullvolumepr @tenpin_uk

Just getting out, having a wander, chatting with other mums, and watching the kids do their thing while we all breathe a little easier. A year ago I nervously started this walk… not knowing if anyone would come, if it would stick, or if I was just chatting to myself in the park 😂 And now? We’re building something really special. Friendships, support, that “you’re not doing this alone” feeling. Our little village 💛 I genuinely can’t wait to see what the next year brings. New term at Playwild = unlocked a new Zach setting apparently… 🫠 Because tell me WHY my chaos gremlin went straight to the mud kitchen… …and then just… stayed there?? The WHOLE session. No wandering. No disappearing acts. No snack negotiations every 3 minutes. Just vibes. And water. Lots of water. 😂 (Who is this child and what has he done with mine?) After that we went off exploring and saw the bears, wolves & foxes 🐻🦊 One bear was literally up a tree like it pays rent there, and two were splashing around in the water having the time of their lives… honestly could’ve stood there watching them all day. Simple days, muddy hands, and tiny moments that just hit a bit different 💚

So… Theo brought me home a plant 🌱 Cute right? Except… it started with mushrooms. Not cute aesthetic cottagecore mushrooms either… I mean “appear overnight, die dramatically by lunchtime” mushrooms 🍄💀 Naturally I did what any responsible adult would do… ✨ absolutely nothing but keep watering it and hoping for the best ✨ And now THIS has appeared 👀 Is it a flower? Is it onions? Have I accidentally started a small indoor farm?? At this point I’m just emotionally invested and slightly concerned 😅 Parenthood really is just: “Here’s a random object from school… keep it alive”
