What happens when there is no longer an audience?...
One thing that isn't spoken about enough when training to be an actor is what happens if/when it stops?
Not many actors know the transferable skills you possess. We are made to feel like the arts is discardable, especially by governments and maybe your grandma after a sherry at Christmas... but being a fully fledged "muggle" now has shown me just how important arts training is in the "muggle" world.
I find myself in conversations with people who are mind-blown at how I hold a conversation or speak to a group of people. I don't give it a second thought because it's just innate now - I have confidence (cue the music) to talk to people, to share ideas and I know how to be creative, but most importantly I know how to get s**t done - performers will never go onstage unprepared and that is a priceless skill!
Performers, you really are the best and the world needs you. Keep showing up and keep reaching for that dream. PLUS if anyone wants to reach our because they don't know how to move onto a new career or how to stop drop me DM.

To celebrate the launch of AKT in @sephora US, we took to the streets of Hollywood Boulevard outside the iconic Pantages Theatre to catch up with the cast of Tina: The Musical — and let's just say, they didn't hold back. PSP, anyone? 🫣
A little personal dump from LA: Keeping myself fit and healthy has become much more of a focus on these trips. It's really hard travelling so much for business and being on the go with such a crazy schedule, plus jet-lag to battle. Yes, black coffee and Lemsip were needed... But I've found the things that are working for me:
- skincare on the plane @bioeffectofficial@dieuxskin 🙏
- gym routine @danoneill_ keeping me on the straight and narrow as much as possible
- rest with @loopearplugs are helping me sleep anywhere. And I'm a TERRIBLE sleeper usually.
- finding outfits that make me feel good no matter my energy/health
Any travel tips you can recommend??
