Super excited to present our next Live Elektroniks Concert! 🎉🔥 May 20 19.30 @institutforx @madskjeld is a composer and sound artist from Denmark. He works mainly in the fields of algorithmic composition and interactive sound art, using self-authored software and hardware, generative processes, patterns, biology, and sound environments to create dazzling sonic structures. In 2024, he founded the platform Exformal Records for sound and listening-based thinking. He studied electronic music composition at The Royal Academy of Music (DIEM), trained as a journalist, and is a member of The Danish Composers’ Society.His work has been commissioned by NyMusikk, The Norwegian Centre for Technology and Art, The Ultima Contemporary Music Festival, Intonal Festival, Aggregate Festival and Lemur Ensemble among others. In 2019 he won a gold award at the International Spatial Audio Conference. @no_lem is an artist and researcher working across sculpture, installation, and performance. His work looks at sound, motion, and unusual forms of behavior that arise through animating auditory machines, materials, and the socio-political objects of contemporary life. Nolan has presented work at the Museum of Modern Art Buenos Aires, Zagreb Biennale, Pioneer Works (NYC), Galleri Box Göteborg, and SPOR Festival among others. He holds an MFA from Columbia University and a PhD from Stanford University’s Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). His practice engages questions at the intersection of technology, sound, and systems-based approaches to contemporary art. @asbjoernskjoldli is a Danish electronic musician who likes to encourage and emphasize the space where intuition might clash with control. With inspiration from ambient, garage and techno, he tries to conduct a path to be freely explored and interpreted. I will be playing a concert for you in A Huset, I don’t have that much to say about it tbh, im a bit nervous but in a good way. 𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚝𝚕𝚎𝚍 𝟿𝟶𝟿 𝚡 𝚔𝚞𝚗𝚎 𝚏𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚊𝚕 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟻 ~ 𝘢𝘭𝘱𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦 ~ we’re returning to kune festival today for the third edition in our collaboration where we will be sharing the sets and stories from their fifth edition earlier this year - taking a deeper dive into the scenes, sounds and style of the festival. this week we’re spotlighting another århus gem and safe distro affiliate, alpo. previously working under the alias ‘the interest’, alpo is another one of those artists who unearths the most beautiful gems and binds them together in a way that wraps you within a spell. from twinkling, blissful downtempo and ambient to the subterranean elements of old school drum & bass and the immersive and bubbly energy of tech house and electro - his mixes has it all! and his opening set on the vessel stage is no different. starting the proceedings on an early thursday evening, alpo’s set is a playful workout of the sound and styles that make up the festival. bridging together all of his influences to create the perfect party atmosphere, the set is an exercise in long-form euphoria. @andy.m3yer Stage design: @yakamoz_4u & @creemelavante Light design and VJ: @creemelavante
