RADIO ARC8IO
Sounds are constantly moving around us, transported through airwaves at all times. Music, debates, commercials, and voices from afar are all broadcast through the invisible dimension of FM radio, revealed by an antenna.
The RADIO ARC8IO interface invites exploration of the radio frequencies that surround us and questions the meaning of radio sound transmission in our present time. The interface turns radio into an instrument — and you into the performer.
With light responses, arcade knobs, and effects, you can tune into eight different analog radio channels, mixing their worlds together to create your own narratives. You can focus on a single channel to discover the story of one signal, or jump through them all, allowing multiple stories to merge into something new. Your musical discovery is what creates the radiophonic experience.
