‘Dreaming in Colour’ will open 5 March at Opera Gallery London and brings together more than 20 emerging painters from across continents, reflecting the gallery’s ongoing commitment to new global talents. ✨ Marking just over a century since the birth of Surrealism, the exhibition explores how today’s rising artists engage with the notion of dreams, a recurring theme in 20th- and 21st-century art, through vibrant, curious, and forward-looking approaches to painting. From ages 12–21 (1992–2001), I was in a punk band called d.b.s. @d.b.s.punk Very strange and kind of wonderful to see Tales From the Crib (1995) and Some Boys Got It, Most Men Don’t (1999) back in the world on colored vinyl, freshly re-released by @dinealonestore . Cleaned up, sounding great, and carrying a lot of old noise with them thanks to @jessegander @sturules604 Equal parts surreal and sentimental. If you’re curious what a teenage version of me was writing and yelling about with his friends, they’re out there again. 🖤 I sourced the photos from all sorts of places.
