Opening 5 March at Opera Gallery London, ‘Dreaming in Colour’ will present a selection of 25 up-and-coming international artists, brought together by a shared interest in intuition, inner worlds and the emotional landscapes of dreams. The exhibition introduces a new generation of painters for whom atmosphere, mood, and narrative openness are central, and where colour operates as an expressive force in its own right.
The exhibition includes Xevi Solà, whose quiet, intuitive figurative works revisit psychological portraiture; Caroline Larsen, known for her lush, tactile still lifes made with piped oil paint; Cristina Babiloni, whose material-driven practice reflects on nature and sustainability; and May Watson, whose colour-rich compositions draw from everyday life and pattern.
‘Dreaming in Colour’ invites viewers into a space where colour flows freely and meaning remains open.
