Few of those who fight the good fight give hope to the rest of us. Share your pain and accept the collective grief to build something stronger. A bond.
I had a conversation with a dear friend about mental health. He said to me "Conquering more often now" that is the reminder of a good fight. A reminder of that hope.
This is the same friend who I co-wrote this song with. This song is a reminder of our individual pain we shared with each other and the bond we built along the way.

5 odd years in a place that became a home away from home. Børn in a coastal town, grew up by the sea and then travelled halfway across the world to make a life and indeed by a sea. That's my journey of self preservation and discovery.

That made no sense to me when I heard but the beauty of art is sometimes in the mundane and it was such a reward for me to write this song. This song is called Venus and I wanted to highlight all the meaningless stories that hide in the shadows of quiet nights and foggy conversations. The beauty that lies within the confines of very drunk and very mundane moments.
I played this song at my feature in @clroom with @redonguitar The way this song came to life on that night makes me truly happy. Soon I will post the full songs here and on YouTube. Hoping my mundane stories reaches people. Now that's all the meaning I need.
