Youâll get a rough overview of how to interpret chord symbols, understand functional harmony and how chords work in context.
Then Iâll give some tips about how to discover and use chords in your music.

She is 25 years old, but has often been told that deep down she is a very old woman, and in that way she grows closer and closer to herself with each passing year. @christawolfmusik is a singer who, with her feminine jazz songs and sense of humor, makes sadness more manageable â and gives faith in the good. Christaâs quirky jazzy tones enchant listeners with their hopeful, half-melancholic moods, while her lyrics speak of a longing for kindness on all levels. At this occasion, which most likely will be a solo concert, expect The Best of 15 Years of her Songwriting.

@mortenchristensen_music thinks in melody and lives through lyrics. His songs are about the choices, losses, and hopes we all encounter in life, with love as the underlying current. This will be an evening of new songs. While earlier releases revolved around the many shades of love, the new songs offer a broader perspective on life and the changes that affect us all in these unsettled and shifting times.

The New Song Circle is your monthly songwriters' new song workshop. Last Sunday of the month. It's free and no registration needed.
If you have a new song, an old song, part of a song, an idea for a song, even less, or just want to help your fellow songwriters in their work, show up and workshop with the host and other songwriters, it's usually even fun! Come, come, come!
The circle is hosted by various regular listening roomies or other fabulous songwriters.
After the New Song Circle, the Listening Room will happen as usual from 19.30, with open stage registration from 19:15.

@kirsten_hildegard is an indie folk-pop songwriter living in Copenhagen. Raised in New York City with German and Filipino roots, her artistry reflects a sense of living in between worlds. With soft vocals and poetic lyricism, her songs are intimate and devotional. Inspired by water, nature, and the slow unfolding of the seasons she writes about surrender, renewal, and the subtle ways love reshapes us.
