Today I also cast my vote for the first minority woman president. Wow. I voted today with tears filling my eyes, thinking about my daughter, and the world I wish for her. Real talk we opened three different watermelons from the garden today and they were all duds 😞, so @meherwanirani gave the watermelons a proper burial, @jamesgrogan bought a bunch of beautiful red watermelon chunks, @raccooneyes dressed them with burrata, pistachio, pickled shallots, olive oil, and our Cyprus flake sea salt, and all was well. A big thanks to Charlotte and Andrew for watching Sonny while Kyle and I went on a date! Big thanks to Bull and Beggar for treating us so well, the food, the wine, the environment, and the service was all spectacular. Maybe it’s because I never go out for dinner without a baby, but seriously I had so much FUN, like really so much FUN.
