@one_united_properties @attila_kim_architects @janemneal

Working between painting, photography, and printmaking, @norbertstefan explores the relationship between digital imagery and material processes of abstraction. In our group show in Timișoara, More Real Than Nature, curated by Norbert Filep, Norbert Ștefan’s works construct layered visual fields through reverse printing techniques and successive acts of transfer. Oil paint, partially removed through imprinting processes, generates blurred and disrupted surfaces that recall abstract photographic effects such as defocus or motion blur. Operating between control and unpredictability, Ștefan’s practice reflects on how digital space, perception, and contemporary image culture continue to reshape the language of painting. Works by Norbert Ștefan are on view in More Real Than Nature, curated by @norbertfilep , until May 31 at Jecza Gallery Timișoara, and you can also see some works of his today at @isho_timisoara Pavilion as part of the @aparterre and @mmarquise Pop-Up, which opened yesterday. Visiting hours at the gallery: Thursday — Saturday, 11:00 — 19:00 with group guided tours every Saturday at 16:00. Please book your visit via the link in our bio. ✨ - 1. Over the past years, @romaniancreativeweek.ro has quietly grown into one of the most alive and ambitious cultural platforms in Iași, and among the best in Romania as a whole, a framework where contemporary art, design, fashion, architecture, music, technology, and emerging creative practices intersect across the city through exhibitions, talks, interventions, screenings, performances, and collective encounters. Behind this ambitious and ever-growing initiative stands @irinaschrotter — the driving force and soul of RCW — whose continued support for contemporary culture has helped shape a meaningful space for dialogue and collaboration. We also what to thank @avi_cicirean for bringing together galleries, artists, curators, and collectors within this year’s program, and for the invitation to be part of these days in Iași. This year, several artists connected to our gallery are part of RCW across multiple exhibitions: > Bogdan Rața is included in Beyond Words, Unspoken Stories at the Art Museum within Palatul Culturii Iași — an exhibition reflecting on the limits of language and the capacity of image, body, and materiality to carry what cannot fully be spoken, curated by Ștefania Dobrescu and Roxana Tolici > Ana Ionescu is part of Metaphora at Sala Voievozilor, a project exploring metaphor as a structure of knowledge and as a process of translating meaning between image, experience, and imagination, curated by Marian Pălie > Andreea Ilie and Ana Ionescu are part of HYDROPHORIA at Baia Turcească, a group exhibition curated by Caterina Pruteanu, exploring water as a space of suspended time, pleasure, vulnerability, and resistance within contemporary culture. > Radu Oreian participates in art/if/acts.Spirit, Residual at Centrul Internațional de Artă Contemporană Baia Turcească, alongside artists whose practices investigate the relationship between gesture, materiality, corporeality, and the invisible forces that shape form, curated by Andra Handric. Congratulations to everyone involved in making RCW happen. You can visit all these exhibitions and more until May 24th. Visit RCW website for all informations. @bogdan_rata_ @raduoreian @andreeailiee @anaionscu

@tincuta.marin ’s - Cestrum Nocturnum opened almost two weeks ago at Jecza Gallery Bucharest at @scanteia_plus . We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for the opening evening and continues to visit the exhibition. Just like the Cestrum Nocturnum (“Queen of the Night”) flower, which blooms after sunset, in darkness, the works displayed in the exhibition unfold slowly, resisting immediate access and remaining suspended in a quiet state of tension. If you didn’t see the show yet, know that the exhibition is on view until June 21 at Casa Presei Libere, Corp C2. Visits take place by appointment through our Calendly link, while guided tours are organized every Saturday at 4 PM. Cestrum Nocturnum (“Queen of the Night”) is a flower that blooms in the evening, after sunset, in the dark, when the world and things begin to shift and everything is seen differently. Like this nocturnal flower, the works displayed in the exhibition do not open themselves to us, but withdraw and remain in space, revealing themselves slowly, held in a state of tension. Within this atmosphere, Tincuța Marin’s new body of work brings together ancient symbolism and modernist fragmentation, converging into a dark, contemplative space. Inspired by Egyptian mythology, creation narratives, and protective rituals, Marin reactivates “magical thinking” as a contemporary strategy. Her work positions mythic, often female figures as resilient, protective presences in a world marked by change and uncertainty. This dark palette registers contemporary unease and fragility, turning the exhibition into a threshold between sanctuary and exposure, between the ancient sacred and the fragile present. @tincuta.marin - Cestrum Nocturnum is on view until June 21 at Jecza Gallery Bucharest — Scânteia+. Don’t forget to book your visit in advance via our calendly app. We look forward to welcoming you in Bucharest! We’re on our way to Venice this week for the opening of the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. We’re honored to support the presentation of Genti Korini at the Albanian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. A Place in the Sun, curated by Małgorzata Ludwisiak, brings forward a complex, layered installation where language, fiction, and history unfold as unstable territories, something we’ve long been interested in following within Korini’s practice. We’ll be there over the opening days, moving between pavilions, meetings, and other exhibitions. If you’re in Venice this week, we’d be glad to cross paths. @gentikorini #malgorzataludwisiak @albanianpavilion2026 @labiennale 📍 Arsenale, Sale d’Armi 🗓 May 9 – November 22, 2026 ____ Commissioner Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Albania @mtks.gov.al ____ Main Partner ABI Bank @americanbankofinvestments ____ With the generous support of Municipality of Tirana @bashkiatirane MANE Foundation @manefoundation The Śmiechowski Family Foundation Jecza Gallery @jecza_gallery Tirana Puppet Theatre @teatriikukullave ____ Produced by: Kube Studios @kube_studios ____ #BiennaleArte2026 #InMinorKeys #AlbanianPavilion2026 #gentikorini

📷 Robert Marooni
