André Butzer's new solo exhibition opens today at Galerie Max Hetzler in Berlin, and runs until April 18!⁠ ⁠ ✨ On this occasion, we’re proud to celebrate the book launch of "Farben, Früchte, Bilder (2021–2025)," a new monograph dedicated to André Butzer, as well as the exclusive preview of an upcoming vibrant lithograph by the artist, launching soon exclusively on @jrpeditions .⁠ ⁠ ⁠🔗 Explore our collaborations with the artist ⁠ ⁠ "I find myself after the long end of Pop Art. The readymade is destroyed. Two-thousand years of painting history continues. The image of the woman endures." – André Butzer⁠ ⁠ ⁠"Farben, Früchte, Bilder" is Butzer’s most personal book to date. For this lavishly designed volume, he has carefully chosen 135 paintings, created between 2021 and 2025. There is just one theme unfolding: his iconic figure of the Woman—first on her own, then surrounded by fruit. This allows for calm and composed viewing, which grows deeper and richer from image to image.
