Introducing Between Currentsâan open source space to support, archive, and inspire Caribbean cultural production. Its name comes from the feeling of being in between ocean currentsâhiglighting the sea as a meeting point, and a place of endless possibility. Between Currents is being created to honor process, co-creation, and community.
Follow along as we build a space to nurture collaboration, learning and mobility across the Caribbean and its diasporas.
Our deepest gratitude to the Knight Foundation for their incredible support in bringing Between Currents to life in 2026!

NuevaYoL, what a time to be alive! Highest voting turnout on a mayorâs race since 1969, with more than a million people who voted for @zohrankmamdani . This isnât about glorifying politicians but recognizing that we donât have to choose between convicted felons, criminals and sexual abusers⊠we can have nice things. We can have a listener, an advocate, and an activist who will fight for our right to live humanely no matter where you stand on the socio-economic ladder weâve been forced to climb.
Hopefully, heâs just the beginning! đ§Ąđ
