Setting up the ol’ canvas for the Dance For Freedom Stage at last weekends’ @cropsnotshops SACRED EARTH GATHERING. Hosted by the mighty Dancing Dough Pizza n Vibes(@andrearancini ) & @food_for_freedom_ I had the privilege and responsibility of being Stage/Sound/Artist Manager for the 2nd biggest stage of the event… Had a blast and witnessed a lot of incredible talent! ✨ oh to dance this life with you ✨ Over the last days we did our handfasting renewal, marking a year and a day since we first bounded ourselves together Makes me nostalgic to the terrains we have traversed both externally & internally these last years To that first moment we locked eyes, on the dance floor, when we were both tending our hearts from previous toxic relations but saw each other. (For a bit of context) Months prior to this moment, i had been struggling deeply in a poly relationship that wasn’t serving me, i felt very far away from my centre of love and self worth. But after that relationship ended & I found myself on a dance floor once again, with magic in my cells 🍄 & I remember looking in the mirror & crying with so much adoration for myself. I felt for myself the love id felt for romantic partners & more such a potent feeling. The first time feeling this force of love inside for myself & I took the dance floor & flew, it was one of my favourite dancing days ever. & that’s when he saw me & looked my way with such admiration, & I danced fiercely back at him. Our first encounter, our first feeling of the madness around us, stilled by loving presence for each other. I feel there’s no coincidence to these sequence of events. That i was charged by the power of love inside of me, that when love called, I didn’t look away.. (which previous me’s would have found hard to receive ) & now we find ourselves here years later, bonded by our depth of feeling, revealed through our movement. This capture was taken at shambala last year, (the festival where i proposed to him 2 years ago). We were struggling after a very challenging summer of lots of distorted perspective & misunderstanding. & this moment felt like a re-meeting of love once again, On the festival dance floor Where it all began, where so much has been felt & I hope we continue to mark memories with Oh the power of dance 💃 May we continue to return and choose to dance, to play and to this love I love you so dearly @andrearancini

🌻🌸🌹Belated Beltane blessings 🌹🌸🌻 A beautiful capture of our second day wedding festivities Theme : magical fae Incredible photographer: @ibexpannett (Check her out she made me feel so at ease behind her lens & really captured the essence of the day with her work) I was very excited to celebrate Beltane traditionally this year, I was facilitating a retreat last year so didn’t attend all the festivities of the maypole, blessings, handfastings magic& love & really wanted to see the town I call home (Glastonbury) come alive I had organised our drive back to England to be back in time But sadly the day before received a painful message that one of my beloved family members had a stroke. It’s never a good time for death to knock really, I’m glad I was able to be physically close to family with being in the country which isn’t always a given. What I valued so much in this time is how my beloved husband showed up to the moment There wasn’t any sense of hesitation, of whether to do the fun thing or be there for me, he drove me late at night to be close to my family, held my hand in the hospital, drove me everyday, was incredibly caring with my family & has been my rock during these days I feel there’s no masks in these moments, you really see how someone’s heart is there for you, as it’s so easy to be there in the fun times, but when someone’s there for you in dark, in the time of hardship, it generates such a different depth We didn’t get to celebrate our love in a field surrounded by loved ones with flowers in our hair, we didn’t get to be witnessed in the traditions of Beltane to reinstate our vows to each other But in a funny sort of way, our vows were put to the test not in words but in actions & my love you really stood by your vows to me & I feel so deeply, unwavering grateful and trusting of our love & so honoured live life’s twists & turns with you by my side Thank you for everything You da best xxxx Ps. ❤️ A lil taster of the vows! ❤️ I feel this video speaks for itself.. And feels vulnerable to share on this platform a lil insight into the depths of my heart, i put a lot of pressure on myself to write these vows, and i found they often came when i was in a place of presence, whether that be walking, driving, showering, and id have to jump out of what i was doing and voice note them before they drifted into the abys of the mindscapes… (because as often as id tell myself id remember.. they can drift away) but even as its a little bit confronting , im so grateful to @tiny.house.creatives for creating this gift of a timeless capture of a magical moment, that we’ll get to keep forever, to anchor & remind ourselves of our promises year by year, and to share with our future people. Truly appreciate the artistry & commitment to let these videos truly capture the essence and flow of the day. You are a true artist!! & special mention to the one and only wonderful @hopkinsrowan , how lucky we are to have a best friend of so many talents, from holding a crowd, cracking jokes, dj’ing, taste buds extraordinaire, and innovative writer just to share a few.. Your commitment to making this day truly remarkable was no small fete and we literally couldn’t have done it without you, i just hope we can repay the favour one day.. To everyone who made this day so filled with beauty inside and out !
