Like Ryan movement saved my life, we both began as professional dancers . . . but the story beyond that is where the wisdom & passion to help others lean into their own personal relationship with movement. Movement is as simple as expanding your rib cage to allow your lungs to fill as you inhale and then softening and blowing out the CO2 as you exhale . . . it’s intuitive in humans to move 💃🏽🎶 Ryan is the inspirational talented generous human heading & running @bodyart.nyc His message is endlessly curious, inclusive & beautiful. Friday 15 May 2026 📓🙏🏼♥️ Gratitude Journal 💗 My grandaughter is 46 weeks 🥰 💃🏽💪🏼 Friday at Phoenix @bridgerd.richmond including 🌀May BREATH experience Biodynamic breathing & a guided breath journey lying down amongst candles & fairylights for some special souls 🫁🧠🌀✨ June BREATH experience is Fri 26 June at 9.15am 🔗 in bio to register interest & receive more information - few of 8 places are available. Anyone can join - no prep or experience required, just an open mind & willingness to participate. Felt very average emotionally on & off this week. Used some music and breath techniques in the park on Wednesday. Wow - it blows me away what a difference it makes. I went from struggling & feeling stuck to refreshed and energised. Back in my own body to teach my BODYART bliss that night. 🌀 Don’t underestimate the power of your own breath - the more you learn to use it - the more magical & helpfully healing it can be. This is ongoing - checking in and acknowledging, rather than minimising or avoiding how you feel. I am not talking miracles here (empty promises are not my thing ever) Now a year out from my BREATH Coach intensive training in Portugal - I have learned so much more & deepened my own practice and teaching. In Term 3 I will do an after hours session for those who cannot make it to a morning as we have been doing once a month this year. Stay tuned - I’d love you to come along 🌀🙋🏻‍♀️🙏🏼😊✨ Tip: Did you know 5 minutes of coherent breathing can totally regulate all the systems in your mind & body? Simply breath in for 5 counts thru your nose Exhale 5 counts thru your mouth with quality - seated or lying down. Set your phone for 5 minutes - stay focussed. 😁🙏🏼🌀✨

I lost my Mum 22 years ago - not a day goes by I don’t think of her . . . she was kind, warm, fun, emotional, affectionate, creative, curious, graceful, elegant, beautiful inside & out - and she was my Mum ♥️ If your Mum is still here in your life - hug her tightly, accept her annoying bits, appreciate her & love her as hard as you can - she is precious. You only get one Mum ♥️

♥️ APT’s 18th Birthday week 🎂 Jason’s 29th Birthday 💙 World Ovarian Cancer Day Term 2 Week 3! I love to thank my loyal APT Community, by giving & inspiring them to move more & well. Celebrating 18 years of APT - officially 8 May - I did that 3 ways: MOVE - 💝💃🏽 Free EXPRESS 30 gifted to ALL my current clients as well as offering the opportunity for anyone curious to dip their toe into changing, improving & creating their own movement relationship. LUNCH - celebrating with those who wanted to join me on Friday THE day @barton.milkbar for some delicious food & connection - thank you to those who came along - it was special because it is about human connection, caring & sharing 🙋🏻‍♀️🙏🏼♥️ WORDS - that mean a lot! My past client spontaneously shared words a week ago, that gave a glance into her current life and how APT had brought movement back into her life - so she could enjoy living to her most fulfilling chosen way. This is not about competition or aspiring to win medals or awards. It’s a deeply personal connection with movement & self. Janet would say to me ‘I CAN’ Instead of the old ashamed voice that would hold her back & not even feel she could have a go. This is the essence of APT’s move well to BE well. My youngest son turned 29 & it was a Mumma’s heart joy to make lasagne & then share it for dinner & have darling hilarious & loveable ‘Goose’ join us. 🥰🎂🐕🪿 💙 Friday 8 May is also World Ovarian Cancer Day @worldovariancancercoalition - close to my heart. My beautiful Mum died of this silent killer 22 years ago. She was diagnosed late & thought her symptoms were post menopausal - she was not aware until it was too advanced. Knowing the symptoms is essential as people don’t realise that 1. Pap smear is NOT for detection of ovarian cancer 2. There is NO early detection test for Ovarian cancer STILL! 3. Knowing the symptoms & risks could save your or a loved one’s life. With Mothers Day tomorrow - I will be holding the love in my heart for my beautiful caring kind Mumma - I miss her, I thank her & I love ♥️ Keep on moving & breathing Andrea x

Shared last week, a past client reshared my post when APT was turning 11 - from 7 years ago; She described her joy of moving in her life now . . . openly & honestly - her final few words were: ‘. . . I would not be able to do any of this if Andrea hadn’t taken a broken, ashamed and embarrassed me and nurtured me back to a person who could move again.’ This is the essence of APT - Janet’s words were both touching and deeply profound, they encapsulate a big part of what APT is about – learning to move well to BE well and enjoy it!! I am SO proud of the 18 years of APT - started for survival by a single Mum grieving for her own Mum she had lost tragically thru ovarian cancer at the same time as her marriage break-up, bringing up 2 beautiful little sons, showing up day in day out, learning voraciously with curiosity, preparing professionally with creativity & always keeping integrity intact, collaborating with incredible colleagues she respects & admires, giving 110% in every session, even when her own life felt overly tough & unmanageable. Above all I am SO very proud & grateful for the kind, friendly, generous & pro-active #aptcommunity of the past & present. You rock 💪🏼🥰💃🏽☯️🙏🏼🙋🏻‍♀️♥️ See you next week.
