šāØA couple of years ago, I worked with transgender children, and it changed something deep inside of me. Every story, every transformation, every tear, every smile⦠was so personal, so fragile, and so incredibly human. š«
What touched me the most was understanding that every individual process is completely different. There is no āone way,ā no simple answer, no quick understanding from the outside. For many, it is a long emotional road of searching, questioning, pain, courage, and finally hoping to be accepted for who they truly are. ā¤ļø
Iām not someone who follows labels, ideologies, or trends. But I deeply respect and support the individual human journey and the right for every person to live their truth with dignity and humanity. š¤
Too often transgender people are objectified, judged, sexualized, or misunderstood before people even take the time to see the human being behind the label. But they are not objects. They are souls. They have hearts, fears, dreams, and the same need we all have: to feel safe, seen, and loved.
One of my friends is transgender, and I felt deeply honored to be invited as a guest on a show about stigmatism and the transgender experience, where I was able to share my thoughts and feelings openly. It reminded me once again that, at the end of the day, we are ONE humanity. š
Maybe humanity finally has a chance the moment we stop defining people by age, color, race, gender, or sexuality ā and simply start seeing each other as human beings. āØš¤
