It is with immense sadness and grief that we let you know that our Oliver Harold is no longer with us in this world. At just eight years old, he should have had many years left ahead of him. The unfortunate reality is that he became sick with lymphoma and passed peacefully in his home yesterday, Monday January 26. I don’t have words to express how much he made our lives better. He was the rock that guided us in our every move. We literally bought *him* a house last year. Those that met him know that he was the sweetest boy. Even if you never go to meet him, and only saw him in photographs, it was clear that he was the sweetest boy. He was so full of love, and he never went without it being given right back to him. He was the best big brother to our Milo. They were best friends. He only ever wanted one thing in his life and that was to go for walks. He would stick his head between our legs urging us to get him around the block at the very least. We had to have walked hundreds of miles together over the past eight years. He loved to swim and I so badly wish he could have been able to swim just one more time. Our hearts are broken. It’s not fair.

There’s a bunch to celebrate today but for now @snarahdactyl and I are celebrating the purchase of our first house! It felt like we waited forever for the banks to do their thing, but it finally worked out! Nothing short about a short sale. There’s lots to be done, but for now we’re all moved in, we’re getting settled, and the dogs are enjoying their new back yard. It’s great to be back in the Little Arabia neighborhood! So much good food!
Much love and appreciation to our friend and realtor @homeswithwertz and @theyoungteamrealestate for their help in getting us a place of our own. A special thank you to the @piercedpoets - @_prepcore , Lance, and @bardicroots for their help moving us in. It’s not lost on us how special it is to have great, helpful, and strong friends in our corner.

I don’t know that I’ve ever listened to any artist more than Tycho. My go to soundtrack when it’s time to work, think, or just to relax for over fifteen years. Just a perfect soundscape for anything I’m doing at any given moment in time. It was a pleasure to finally see them perform live and an even greater pleasure to photograph the show. They were absolutely incredible!

Had a little photo shoot with Oliver and Milo yesterday. Made 13x19 prints for their mom for her birthday. Oliver is a natural, but Milo was having a hard time. I love em so much.
