I started singing to my son the first night I met him. From my first lullaby to him, there’s always been a smile attached to it. I think we both find comfort in how simple a song can be and how safe it can make us feel. The songs change, but never the way I sing them to him so this ritual of a song before bed definitely helps me slow down.
So here’s one of his favorite requests before bed
