TODAY 12/5 at 12pm PST we’re hosting an IG Live with the creators of Ancestral Future: Indigitized Landscapes.
Indigitized Landscapes is an AR experience where planet Earth reclaims land of the cities floating above Seattle. Time does not exist in this floating city, but one could argue that time is stuck in infinity. The only species able to live the span of this era are plants. These plants carry special names given to them by the first peoples of this land, The Coast Salish.
Gabriel-Bello Diaz is a multidisciplinary artist focused on the combination of emerging technologies and traditional craftsmanship. He has curated a dozen plus shows using fashion as an artform to express a deeper dialogue. Ancestral Future is his proudest fashion vision, highlighting indigenous and ancestral traditions of textiles and symbols through digital fabrication to help highlight stories of our communities.
Yes Segura is an Artist, Urban Planner, Urban Designer, and Cartographer.
He’s also the Founder of Smash the Box, a multidisciplinary community driven Urban Planning & Design Firm, selling art while applying for contracts and grants to sustain the Queer Transgender BIPOC owned business.
