Shots with The Burdens. When I heard the demos the sent me, I felt like these dudes need a loud fucking record. They indulged me. Caleb brought my Gretsch drums to life and Evan let me dial in the most ridiculous over the top guitar tones. Today Corey is letting me dial in an equally obnoxious bass tone to match these monster guitars.
Rock n roll is alive and well. Thank god.

Going through these old reels of mine—found this from the Dead Shepherds record. We used this unit as a slap echo that I fed from my Tascam 388. This is the recorded sound from that Aux bus send!

@farseerchicago came and went and in the time they spent here, they left an absolute monster of a record in my lap. @tinytreeband played with these dudes in ‘22 and we were blown away by their set. Being in the cockpit watching the album take life was incredible. The amount of talent in this band is top tier.

He is Tommys cousin and has been involved on a ground level since the conquistador days. He has done preproduction for us, tracked and mixed full tunes and is the only motherfucker that can truly put up with DIES and all the shenanigans. He is truly one of a kind, a great engineer, a solid human and dad and one of the weirdest fucks we know. Couldn’t and wouldn’t wanna do this without you brother. Check out all his work and if you need a en engineer that fucks and sucks (in the best ways) ADD is yer guy.
