Here's a glimpse into a project I have been working on, for Nicky Cahill at Translink and Daisychain Inc, 'When Walls Speak Welcome'
Working with children and young people discussing street art, visualising how to convey ideas and develop concepts, and how to transform their ideas into symbols.
In workshops we explored how best to represent their experiences of school alongside ideas around identity, community and their journeys - both to school and through school as they grow.
Here is a mural I completed for Donegal Road Primary school, interpreting their concepts and incorporating the symbols created into the mural.
