Here I leave the necessary comment + thanks to @s_p_a_c_e.xyz  for the first part of their written work: SHSHSHSHSHIFT. Radiography of Berlin's night ecosystem in an era of change marked by the pandemic. Exercise of visibilization of forgotten realities, never under the spotlight or on stage. Intrahistory that questions the construction of reality from the non-visible or unimportant.   The methodology is queer, of intersectional dissident theories, as the methodology of relational thinking: collectively producing otherness with our codes and our values. In our own way. Looking/writing from the other side: backstage, warehouses and basements. If it's not uncomfortable, it's not queer. Although the language is somewhat academic and the references kilometers long, there is no thesis to defend and substantiate other than the reflection on a collective ethnography and an autoethnography of unnamed and completely dispossessed perspectives. Sketching a portrait of queer working class Berliners and the complexities that traverse them. It is only a fragment, a limited number, but a clear beginning. It was also hard work to compile these testimonies (including my own) and to ensure that the interviews were tailored to the profiles of the contributors, and that their profiles and experiences reflect as much as possible the microcosm of the club. Those little people, all of them, even the absent ones, produce collective knowledge and above all: reality. They make our night freer, they create the spaces and hold our experiences more than the names on the line up. This book proposes a re-writing/reading of the experience and memory of the party. And finally the archive as a work of the imagination. The performance of @s_p_a_c_e.xyz  is an example of performance art, of taking the dancefloor/stage & the spotlight. Metareference for clubbers/clubworkers on the ground, but again, from another side. No romanticizing, no sugarcoating anywhere. @lav.ender.end & @xan.dokan , thanks for getting your hands dirty once more. May it be translated soon and in many languages. Thank you @kinky.sundays team for the best gig this year so far. The warm welcome and the ultra professional and attentive team at @milkshakefestival made the trip to Amsterdam a dream. The effort to make those 16,000 people a day happy looks epic. This booking made it clear: I am hired to do what I do best: mixing styles, playing queer-never straight and along side a crazy challenging line up. Also, it is getting political making sure that everything on stage is perfect for playing vinyl, especially at a festival. And I'm also speaking from the perspective of an organizer and sound technician, club worker seeing other people in action and giving their best. Both crews made us all feel the love and care they put into their work and how much they enjoyed our music. On Wednesday 10th of December Queer Vinyl Night is launching the first episode of a collaboration with @arkaodaberlin , for this first edition, we’re bringing two flinta + queer vinyl DJs, known in the local and international scene : @ptas__vampiras & @amperia__ 🦇 taking over the upstairs floor with a dark, deep and cold selection, fitting the winter season, and end of year rush. As always, free entry & vinyl only. This is a queer event, straight friendly. About the cover 🎨 This edition cover pays tribute to Salamanca 5 – A dark-wave gem on vinyl. @amperia__ aka Aurelia Dinamita will play vinyls at the wrong speed for us on the 16 November, after the morning workshop with @front_de_cadeaux Clubworker, raver, queer, non-binary, record collector and DJ, Amperia has been a resident and curator of the @autopoiesisberlin and @polymotion podcasts and, as Aurelia Dinamita, created the queer post-punk-wave events @dis_tanz__ and Trash Me. Working as a promoter in Madrid's underground goth scene since 2003, Amperia noticed the lack of women and trans people creating and mixing music. In 2010, she moved to Berlin and, together with friends, decided to amplify everyone's efforts and create a better party space for FLINTA people. Among the most relevant events are: the post-punk-queer parties and concerts: Trash Me (2012), which later developed into the FLINTA parties Dis/Tanz (2014), a wave-postpunk and sex-positive solidarity event, and @autopoiesis (2016), which focused on empowering women and trans* people in the techno scene and occupying the loudest spaces of Berlin nightlife together. In 2016, Amperia also joined the @soundsysters crew, offering DJ workshops, sharing her experience, and providing sound for festivals and concert halls together. Around 2018, she joined another special team: poly|motion - a sex party based on techno and electronic music with a very low BPM, also with a strong focus on FLINTA performances.
