What an incredible journey 🦁✨ My piece “Lionfly” was awarded Runner-Up in the Air Section at this year’s World of WearableArt in Wellington, New Zealand. It was an honor to see this mythological creature come to life on stage. The garment is entirely made from deadstock luxury zippers, reimagined and sculpted into an armor of transformation — a reflection on rebirth, waste, and resilience through design. Deep gratitude to the entire @worldofwearableart team, the judges, the performers, and everyone who brings this extraordinary competition to life each year.
