Based in Kyoto, the heart of the Japanese textile industry, with a brick-and-mortar store founded in 2014, we currently operate from three locations: Kyoto, Tokyo, and Portland, Oregon. In addition to creating and dyeing our own yarn lines, amirisu’s publishing branch has expanded, releasing at least three unique titles of knitting pattern books every year. We also run handicraft lessons, including knitting retreats and events, in Japan
