プラナカン建築ってカラフルで可愛い😍
シンガポールの歴史と異国情緒を感じられるカトン地区は少し遠かったので今回は滞在したホテルの近く、Orchardでもプラナカン建築が見れる「エメラルド・ヒル」に行ってきました🫶
可愛い飲食店もあって気になるし、ホテルから歩いて行けるのも便利でした✨
前回、カトンは訪れていて、カトンも素敵だし、ここもコンパクトに歴史を感じられて大満足！

Peranakan architecture is so colorful and cute! 😍 The Katong district, where you can experience Singapore’s history and exotic charm, was a bit far, so this time I went to Emerald Hill in Orchard—near the hotel where I was staying—to see some Peranakan architecture there instead. 🫶
There were some cute restaurants that caught my eye, and it was super convenient to be able to walk there from the hotel. ✨
I visited Katong last time, and while Katong might be a bit more colorful, I was totally satisfied here too because I could really feel the history!
*Please be mindful that these are residential areas, so let’s keep it quiet while sightseeing☺️

朝食は、ホテルの2階にある「コモ キュイジーヌ（COMO Cuisine）」で。オールデイダイニングのレストランでレストランとしてビジターもランチやディナーに利用可能。
レストランのデザインもおしゃれで可愛い〜😍
前に紹介した行列ができるセドリック グロレ シンガポールの人気クロワッサン🥐もひとつ、朝食で食べられる贅沢さ。
「COMO Shambhala Kitchen（コモ シャンバラ キッチン）」の健康とウェルビーイングに焦点を当てた栄養価の高い食事も提供🍽️
さすがウェルネスを考えているホテル。ビュッフェ代には白湯やスムージー、たっぷりのお野菜、野菜を中心としたライトミールがずらり。更に1品、好きなアラカルトをオーダーできました✨
もちろん、しっかりとボリュームのあるアラカルトメニューもあって、シンガポール名物のラクサも美味しかったです🫶
The lounge had beautiful wall with floral designs that changed every 24 hours 🌷
Here, a robot 🤖 named “Bruno” brews café lattes and coffee, which made me wonder, “Is this what cafés of the future will look like??” 😳 and imagine what the future might hold.
Breakfast is served at “COMO Cuisine” on the hotel’s second floor. It’s an all-day dining restaurant open to visitors for lunch and dinner as well.
What a treat to enjoy one of Cedric Grolet’s famous Singapore croissants 🥐 for breakfast.
“COMO Shambhala Kitchen” also offers nutritious meals focused on health and well-being 🍽️
As you’d expect from a wellness-focused hotel, the buffet includes hot water, smoothies, plenty of vegetables, and a wide selection of light, vegetable-based meals. Plus, you could order one additional à la carte item of your choice ✨
Of course, there’s also a substantial à la carte menu, and the laksa—a Singaporean specialty—was delicious 🫶
