It’s been 8 years, 2920 days since I’ve been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This experience has taught me resilience, the power of self love and of the mind. I’ve had to learn to love and appreciate myself in all stages of this disease. It’s forced me to get a deeper understanding of who I am beyond the physical. In honor of World MS Day, I’m sharing a report that I’ve written to shed light and understanding on this autoimmune disease.

This year has been one of the greatest shifts of my life a returning to myself. I’ve been unapologetically showing up as who I am, regardless of fear, regardless of judgment.
All my life I knew I was different.
I felt odd. Out of place. Now I understand I was never meant to fit in. I was meant to be exactly who I am.
And today, I can say I truly love who I am.

While this event included a brand showcase, a produce giveaway, a floral station, and a beautiful community walk, the sound bath may have been our favorite part of the day.
As things settled down, we grabbed our blankets and settled in for some rejuvenation beneath the clear blue Cali Skies 🌻
This FIRST EVER sound bath at SÜPRMARKT meant the world to us, as we hope to host thriving wellness events which support the neighborhood’s health in more ways than one!

I finally answered the call and signed up for Sound Practitioner training… something I set out to do when I bought my first bowls years ago. In this journey I’ve learned so much about music theory, cymatics, and got to explore other beautiful instruments. Sound has become such a powerful tool in my own healing… helping me process emotions buried deep within my subconscious and guiding me in ways I didn’t know I needed.
Thank you @alignwithbella and @planetgongstands for being incredible instructors and creating such a sacred, transformative space. A space built on trust and authenticity, where being seen and not judged was the true gift. I’m beyond grateful for the amazing women I connected with… this experience was truly life changing.
