Shaved head on this day a year ago, what a good year! Quit my job and became a full time colorist, got married, spent a lot of great time with friends, met little Sophia (and we didn’t even know she’s on the way last May), also did a lot to get sober from weed, but that’s an ongoing journey… I was sure this will be a year when I’ll be able to leave US and see my family, but unfortunately, not this one. Life’s happening, I’m grateful!

I love you @jacktashdjian Happy birthday to you! I’m amazed how much you love your life, your family and me! It’s very infectious and learn from you! I wish you to take more photos, print more, travel a lot, get married, meet your new family on my side, drive your cool new car, work on the shows you are proud of and feel meaningful, loved and appreciated! Love you!

Visuals for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour. It was a great experience to contribute to the color for this project along side some of the best colorists @kaitlynbattistelli @ryanurzi @dantegiani , supported by @greyson.color and @anniecater , and produced by @sweetiepiekewpie . Everyone really showed up for each other, and watching show was fun! Closing out my year at @ethos_studio and moving forward as a freelancer now, but this project and year 2025 changed me and definitely made me a better colorist and got me many new friends! P.S. thank you Annie for these photos❤️

I turned 29 today❤️ I spent last night and this morning talking to all my family and relatives, everyone is in different places in the world, I didn’t get to hug any of them today, but I kept telling them how happy I am, and that’s true. I love growing up; I can feel my experience physically. It’s like a deck of cards filled with skills, experiences, and I can look at them, hold them, study them. I love carrying all these years with me, and I truly value everything that has happened. This year my wish for myself is to take more risks - to do things that might feel uncertain or even wrong, because it’s worth trying. That’s my motto for the year: it’s worth a try!!! And thank you to my fiancé Jack. I feel so loved. I feel so much love and respect from Jack and from his family, it’s hard to describe, I am very lucky! I can’t hug any of my relatives today, but I’ve been hugging my future husband and my dog all morning. And this weekend, I’ll see my friends and hug them too. I love my life - my immigrant life as a digital colorist in Hollywood. I’m grateful for this community and for all of you, for your support and love.

Hair Grows Back - a small project about change. Shot and scanned by @jacktashdjian and edited by @glebpolonskiy My two favorite men who support all my ideas❤️ Also huge thanks to @kirill_hairfucker for this awesome color and cut, sorry I shaved it off🤘 I love this video because it feels exactly the way I felt that day. Shaving my head full of hair didn’t feel dramatic. It just felt… cool. The same kind of cool I feel when I listen to #brockhampton #buzzcut

A year and a half ago, I was in my garage developing slide film with a gas mask around my mouth and wild unkept hair. I had completely forgotten that I had someone coming to drop off some 16mm film for scans. Alex walks in with this glow of beauty and confidence. I was so shocked totally not expecting her. I didn’t want her to leave. I invited her inside for a coffee and to show her a tiny slice of my world. Last week I asked this beautiful amazing woman to marry me. I love her so much and can’t wait to spend my life with her.

A year and a half ago, I got a project to color grade. It was a film project, and something was wrong with the scan. I was advised to rescan the film to make it easier to work with. So, through the community I was introduced to someone who could do the rescan. That’s how I met Jack. We connected right away. I felt so good around him. I remember that night vividly. He was showing me his cameras, scanner, playing his records and I felt that he doesn’t want me to leave. Before I was gone, he said, “Come by, I’ll take your photo. I love photographing people.” And I thought how cool that I love being photographed. I love posing, creating characters and stories. So I really liked him. I thought: I want to be around this person. I want to be close to him. The things we create together, all the videos and photos usually start like this: Jack says, “Hey, let’s shoot something. Put on something cool. Ideally, look like a villainess from a James Bond film.” I go through my closet, come up with a look. I love changing my hairstyle to inspire him, to look different, like a new character. For him. It’s an incredible hobby. Our first trip together was to New York, where we shot 25 rolls of film in three days. Then we came back, developed ourselves, scanned it, and just loved the process and results! That’s when I said that I love him. I’m still shocked every day that I met someone who fit into my life like a puzzle piece into my worldview, my pace, my lifestyle. I love hearing his thoughts and acknowledging that I think exactly same! I love him very much. And I love this photoshoot. We missed the light, but said, screw it, let’s go anyway. We lit me just with the car headlights. And it was incredible. Incredible to see the world and even more so, to be seen like that♥️
