This is our version of Annachie Gordon. It’s a song I love singing. I love a story song, especially a sad story song. I love all songs but we Scot’s and Irish are very good at melancholy. It’s in our bones. I enjoy singing them all but Annachie and @grahamhenderson9637 ‘s “Close to you” are my current favourites.
