@bwood1378@cinemaideal@ulisboa Billy Woodberry’s 2015 film about poet Bob Kaufman played tonight and as the second time seeing it (the first was @anthologyfilmarchives ) I was moved and struck by the way Woodberry builds Kaufman’s legendary story and poetries from several voices until the stunning finale staggering shots where Kaufman flickers into a riveting and real hero of life, poetry and cinema - an Outrider with all the Beatitude there ever was

Lost Voyage Collective multimedia artists engage in a journey, activating choreographed spaces and transportable objects that uphold personal creative agency. By relinquishing control of outcomes, they invite viewers to navigate their own stories, emphasizing process and the connection between self and surrounding environment.
The Lost Voyage Collective continues as a living improvisational practice across movement, sound, installation, poetry, and document. As voyagers and voyeurs, we weave themes of migration, dwelling and collective grief. In Lost Voyage: Lake Eden, our practice unfolds into the environment of Black Mountain College as we begin our journey in a canoe crossing the lake to the interior installation at the Roundhouse.
This was also a way to join other artists making work that brought the spirit of Black Mountain College into the present moment.

many years ago where I spent 3 days following Fernando Pessoa, visiting a cork convent, a castle, and a tile museum and also photographed a series of these door ornaments and recorded audio from the streets…can’t wait to return with @outridermovie@annewaldman and to screen @cinemaideal with Billy Woodberry’s Bob Kaufman documentary
