From laughing with the legendary @sallyfield to paddle boarding with Lewis, to spending days on the ocean in Deep Cove (my hometown!), and spending time at the Vancouver Aquarium, this was truly a dream come true experience.
I’ll never be able to thank @livinewman enough for trusting me to be her Coordinator and for captaining this heartfelt ship. Every day on set, her grace, humanity, and passion for this story inspired everyone to pour their hearts into it. I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of something so special.
Please watch this wonderful film on @netflix I think it will leave with a fuller heart, and a whole new love for octopuses. 🐙

The monsters in this film come from the past, but they feel painfully present in our lives today as violence and fear against immigrant communities and those who stand with them continues.
