Living life to the fullest has looked like working harder than I ever have, giving myself the balance to recharge, and enjoying every minute of it all.
This mural isn’t 100% complete, but I’m happy with the stopping point I came to during my short work trip in Chicago this past week. Can’t believe I’m trading Infrasound for EDC this year, but it’s about to be the most amazing time spent with @zenyap0506 aka @zenergizer_bunny & @dribbledrum . The Yap sister trio would make some bomb social media content, but we are usually too busy having fun. Can’t wait to laugh until my tummy hurts celebrating my taurus sissies this weekend.

@dance.withoutborders is a blessing to the Denver music community whether it’s recognized yet or not.
Being a small part as an artist, of the growth of a new organization that we have all been needing, is an honor I’ll never play down - and at the same time it’s not always smooth sailing. Growth will always be accompanied by some pains - just another opportunity to learn and grow to be better with others.
It’s been a pleasure to see DWB at work behind the scenes, because providing a safe space for others to enjoy AND keeping up with ensuring authenticity stays in tact/ focused on a mission is really hard to do in a complex world where many events are focused on greed, clout, and money.
Community is about the humans involved, and session #4 has showed me how lucky any of us are to be part of building anything like this. THANK YOU to everyone I’ve connected with so far because of this organization.

Gym Diaries Week 21: Physical and mental health are so deeply connected. My gym journey is a direct reflection of how far I’ve come mentally.
This is my own unique experience, but at one point my mental wellbeing was so unmanaged - while being high-functioning and decently masked. I used it as an excuse for poor behavior when I was figuring things out. I largely kept to myself, with art as an outlet and love from my sisters, through my darkest explorations to avoid being a liability. (ily @zenyap0506 , @dribbledrum )
Witnessing my own cycles of depression and hypomania kept me scared of myself and the potential badness my brain was capable of. I did everything in my power to keep it in check and find anyway to bring my disordered life into some kind of order - and 10 years of intention has built a foundation of stability I prayed for every single day and worked toward in every single thing I’ve set out to do.
It’s all much easier said than done, so I’m sending love on your mental health journeys. Even if we’re always healing from something, I hope you find safety and trust in your own brain by working kindly with it instead of against it 🖤
