About the Talk:
An artist and an urban studies professor walk into a (sand)bar and realize they’re characters in a multispecies interdisciplinary conversation about the contaminated legacy of water and soil. You’re invited to join them/us to explore the past and present of Newtown Creek, NYC’s largest Superfund site, through art, science, pedagogy and mysticism.
