We’re excited to announce a new strategic partnership between ALTÉRRA and @bbva , unveiled at #ADSW2026 in the presence of HE Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Chairman of ALTÉRRA and Carlos Torres Vila, Chair of BBVA.
BBVA has agreed to commit $250 million as a strategic LP to ALTÉRRA Opportunity Fund, a planned $1.2BN climate co-investment vehicle.
This milestone marks a key step in ALTÉRRA’s next phase of growth and strengthens our ability to mobilize and deploy capital toward global climate opportunities.
