Unveiling the stage design for the 2026 iteration of Pitch One → Final passes via 🔗 in bio
Drawing on it’s brutalist lineage, this year’s Pitch One stage design features a procession of blade-like planes and apertures that hold space for sound.
Designers @alter_place have created a structure that is neither facade nor backdrop. It considers absence as much as presence, creating a threshold where light, sound, and bodies gather within a constructed void.
Complemented by lighting design from @phase3concepts whose work spans 20 Years of Pryda with Eric Prydz, Seismic Festival, The Wool Store and more, prepare for a dancefloor experience unlike any Pitch One that has stood before.

A pleasure to revist and reimagine this space.
More vertical containers, more scalable platforms, a new coat of paint, some water cannons and a serious upgrade in both the sound and lighting.

Chris and the team @purple_audio for executing a gorgeous array of sonic treats - working around the tricky constraints of reflective surfaces everywhere to deliver one of the best sounding systems I've heard in a long time.
Andrew, Ryan and the team at @bad_idea_factory once again for a visual delight and bringing to life all of our crazy ideas.
@christopher_myles and @ash_keating for the elegently subtle colour treatment across a gigantic surface area.
