In the coming years, emission reduction in architecture will no longer come primarily from how buildings operate, but from how they are built. As energy requirements become more stringent, the weight of embodied carbon increases and becomes a decisive factor in design. The Iridea Bio coating is produced in Italy, but Paper Waste Panels are painted at our factory in Catalonia. Our partner, ICA Lab (@icagroupofficial ), developed the Iridea Bio line, largely made from recycled vegetable matter. The production of Paper Waste Panels takes place locally in a village near Barcelona, just 50 km from where waste paper is sourced and HONEXT® (@honextmaterial ) boards are manufactured. The HONEXT® panels arrive at our facilities, where they undergo pressing to incorporate the required patterns.
