Happy 38th birthday to @kelsbana . She took the day off because she doesn't like working on her birthday, which is why she's sanding wood at the house build today. Shoot her a text or Venmo her $0.69 for cheese money.

Carnage Trail Kids: D.N.Efta Caleb Efta is one of the builders. Not just of trails - but of moments. Of community. Of belief. As part of the incredible team behind the High Lonesome 100, Caleb helps run one of the most brutally beautiful and deeply rooted ultras in the country. But what makes this race truly special isn’t just the terrain - it’s the people. Every aid station, every summit, every finish line moment is made possible by a crew that gives everything for the runners. Being a race director is hard. It’s long hours, tough calls, and zero glamour. But without them, these life-changing miles wouldn’t happen. This card is a tribute to Caleb - and to every race director who pours it all out so others can break themselves in the best way possible. So here’s to the ones who make the magic happen. Caleb and the entire High Lonesome team race with purpose - supporting the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative to protect the wild, high-alpine trails we love. This land matters. And it stays wild only if we fight to keep it that way. To learn more about the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative, scan the QR code on the back of the card or head to 14ers.org #deathmarchrunningcompany #carnagetrailkids #dnefta #ultrarunning #trailrunning #highlonesome100 #coloradofourteenersinitiative

What a fucking day. A badass crane-crew spends two hours chaining and towing in 1 mile to get to the site. 5 guys worked their asses off to fly 26 trusses. Then we wrapped up by working into the dark to set our timber frame trusses and ridgebeam. One more piece of beam work before the crane leaves early in the morning. Fuck ya.
