Tower Show! Earrings to match the occasion!
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that came out to support me and everyone who sent messages. It was pretty surreal seeing my work up on a wall for so many others to see. The show runs Saturdays and Sundays 12p-6p through May 17th. @artsgowanus
I’m so excited to participate in Arts Gowanus’s fifth annual Tower Show! Join me (and 300 other local artists) on April 23rd from 7-9 PM at Union Channel (240 3rd Ave) to see this piece in person! If you can’t make it to the opening, the exhibition will be on view Saturdays and Sundays from 12-6 PM through May 17th. @artsgowanus This show also serves as a food drive for @chips4thave so don’t forget to bring something from their list to donate! #towerartshow2026
Yesterday I graduated with my MS in Health Communication for Social Change from the CUNY School of Public and Health and Health Policy. I had the honor of walking across the stage of the world famous Apollo Theater for commencement. I worked harder than I have ever worked, held myself to the highest standards and could not be more proud of the work I created and accomplished. Thank you to everyone one that supported me - especially my Rear House family who read and reviewed papers, bounced around ideas, and picked me up off the ground more times than I can count. Congrats to me. I did it ya’ll.
Yesterday I turned 39. Today my graduate degree came in the mail. I’m thankful to be getting older, I never thought I would. I’m thankful for my resilience and perseverance through this process, I’ve grown immensely as a person. I haven’t a clue to what’s next but I know it will be an adventure.
