The rhythms gave me courage to move freely and I felt so proud to be from Chicago, where the genre originated. I started performing when I was 12 yrs old and have been professionally Instructing/ Choreographing for over 20 years now. After 16 yrs of teaching Strength and Dance Fitness classes, I needed a challenge! I wanted to further educate myself and my peers in a slightly different approach, but still heavily inspired by music. I decided to take my fitness classes to another level... Throughout the session, I want you to experience that infinite joy, bravery and love that House music gave me. Welcome to HOUSE PILATES aka “HOUSE-LATES!” An urban Pilates mat work class where House music controls your core and your heart still runs the dancefloor!

In a cultural landscape where traditional artistic values are being reconsidered, @vincentpeters aka Æthelstan’s work aligns with the broader discourse on the death of classical art paradigms. His approach argues that fine art’s commercialization has stripped it of deeper meaning. Drawing from a diverse range of mediums, Æthelstan employs a blend of historical references and subversive imagery to question the commodification of legacy. His work resonates in a market where anti-establishment narratives are increasingly valuable, as seen in the recent art auctions that capitalize on dismantling traditional structures of power. By merging motifs previously explored by Jean-Michel Basquiat with his own unique stylings, he crafts visually compelling, yet politically charged, pieces that provide a discourse about race, religion, and politics : forcing audiences to reconsider the cost of inherited privilege. The artist will be in attendance answering all your questions and we will be screening/debuting his original short film in a loop all evening to accompany the work. This is a multi-sensory experience for all! As always, our shows are free to attend and open to the public.
