IUS of Time @ius_del_tiempo directed by Roberto F. Canuto @robertofcanuto and Xu Xiaoxi @xu_xiaoxi , has been selected for the Diversidad 2026 section of the 10th FeCHA @fecha_gr – Athens Spanish-Language Film Festival in Greece. The screening will take place on May 29, 2026 at the Instituto Cervantes of Athens as part of a curated LGBTQ+ program developed in collaboration with Athens Pride, featuring four short films from across the Spanish-speaking world. With nearly 60 international festival selections across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Oceania, the film continues expanding its international trajectory within contemporary queer and independent cinema. Set in rural Asturias, IUS of Time combines poetic storytelling, queer memory and landscape-based cinema through an intimate encounter between two characters from different generations and worlds. Germany next for IUS of Time @ius_del_tiempo The film has been selected for the 42nd edition of the Schwule Filmwoche Freiburg 2026, one of Europe’s longest-running LGBTQ+ film festivals. Screening in the international short film competition, it will be presented on May 3 at 21:00, as part of the Fabulous Shorts I programme.
