Arboretums are places where I come alive! I love being surrounded by natural beauty with morning sunlit paths and quiet, still pools of water. I couldn't have asked for a prettier scene for Alex and Alex's morning engagement session last week!

What a fun place to be married! Bay Pointe is right on the water's edge of Gun Lake. I grew up out there, and it's always nice to be back in my home area. Especially for such a lovely event! Rachel and Dade were tons of fun and had a million gorgeous things to film! Here is a tiny teaser from their June wedding, with a longer highlight film releasing soon!

Thank goodness for amazing friends and wonderful neighbors who pooled chainsaws, tools, and supplies to clear our roof before the rain started again last night. All is dry this morning in our newly “aerated” kitchen, and this will easily hold until insurance can check it out and get professionals on the job!
